Well, I don't know ...

There is an idiom “(be) careful what you wish for” – used to tell people to think before they say that they want something and to suggest that they may not actually want it (definition taken from Merriam-Webster, hoping it is ok to cite it).

Just I don’t know, did anyone wish for the mess the world is in now? If so, he/she might be crazy!

I stopped counting the variants of the covid virus. I don’t have medical education. I may understand the basics, preferably written for or read to kids. What I understand is that the pandemic is real and serious. Any depreciation is bad, even if we – everyone of us humans beings – may hope that our family and friends won’t be affected, that they won’t get ill and in the worst case scenario die. Though we can’t be sure and it is proven that vaccination helps. Vaccinated people have at least milder symptoms despite the fact that they can spread the virus too.

According to some surveys we are divided similarly as we were in the times of Cold war. With the internet and social networks it is much easier to spread rumors and lies across the globe, especially as we don’t have same native language. Learning takes time. I’ve lived in Great Britain for about 15 years, still I don’t know all grammar rules. To communicate felt more important than gramatical correctnes.

Could we start to communicate again and forget about political and other correctnesess? Of course, we get offended every now and then, but trying to be polite at all times is much worse than scream our heart out and reconsiliate later. It is hard to live earthy life without making mistakes.
